Case carburizing
The shell carburizing process forms a hardened steel "shell" on the outside of the roller bearing while leaving a soft core. The combination of hard surface layers around the soft core provides excellent impact load capability. Case carburizing increases theoretical bearing life by up to 40%, increasing maintenance intervals and reducing downtime.

Special roll crown
Our pioneering efforts in developing crowned rollers have resulted in greater load carrying capacity and longer bearing life. Loaded crowned rollers distribute stress evenly along their entire length in contact with the raceway, eliminating stress concentrations at the ends of the rollers. This design concept also compensates for minor misalignments between the shaft and housing bore and deformation under load, reducing stress concentrations.

Metric Design Tapered Roller Bearings

For medium and large angle tapered roller bearings of metric design, the contact angle symbol C or D, respectively, has been added after the hole number. For right angle tapered roller bearings, the contact angle symbol is not used. Middle angle tapered roller bearings are mainly used for pinion shafts of automobile differentials. Among the bearings with high load capacity (HR series), some bearings have a basic number suffix J for the diameter of the outer ring back raceway, the outer ring width and the contact angle in accordance with ISO specifications. Therefore, the inner ring assembly and outer ring of bearings with the same basic number with the J suffix are interchangeable internationally. Among the metric tapered roller bearings specified by ISO 355, some bearings have new dimensions that differ from the 3XX dimension series used in the past. Some of them are listed in the bearing table. They meet ISO specifications for the smaller end diameter and contact angle of the cup. Cone and cup assemblies are internationally interchangeable.
